Treaty 2 Territory – With the arrival of Spring comes warmer weather and the triumph of surviving a long, cold winter. The season brings growth, and fresh beginnings. That was the case today for the Nation of Minegoziibe Anishinabe as they graduated 6 of their members after successful completion of the Human Resource Management Certificate Program.
Our Treaty 2 Territory Anishinaabek Government Congratulates Bert McKay, Randi Moosetail, Sherry Chartrand, Anita Richard, Charlene Flatfoot and Vernon Nepinak on their achievements as they receive their diploma from Assiniboine Community College.

This community-based and employer-driven program was funded by Post Secondary Student Services and Canada/Manitoba Jobs Grant. The program consisted of courses in Software Applications, HR Management, Organizational Management, Compensation, Human Resource Laws, Staffing, Training and Development, in addition to others.
The students were challenged daily; attending class, studying, balancing work and home life. They proved their determination and resiliency through 16 months of blended instruction (remote & in-person) and during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Today, the Graduates were blessed with more than their diplomas. The celebration included prayer, an honour song and a meal.
