Lake St. Martin First Nation Update

With the Covid-19 pandemic Lake St. Martin First Nation is taking safety precautions and have set up 24 hour Security check stops. Non band members and anyone not having a home in the Nation is not allowed to go in.  The Store and gas bar is open for the local people.  Their Band Office is also open but only the staff are allowed into the office and are following the social distancing guidelines.  The Health Center is also open with limited hours and the medical van service is operating.

There are no suspected Covid-19 cases in Lake St. Martin. The Chief and Council have also been providing food hampers to their Nation’s members.

Thanks to all the Security Staff and band staff along with the Chief and Council in taking steps to keep your First Nation Members safe.
